Meridia is a medication manufactured by Abbott Laboratories that is used for the management of obesity and weight loss. Meridia works by increasing levels of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine in the brain. These neurotransmitters help reduce the patient's appetite and aids in the weight loss process.
